Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in critical infrastructure projects.
• Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Proficiency in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems.
• Must have SC Clearance or Ability to Obtain SC Clearance.

Job description

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Electrical Engineers to join a leading Design and Engineering Company on a contract basis to deliver schemes throughout the Glasgow area within various sectors, including Nuclear and Defence. This is a contract role with 2 days on-site in Glasgow, Inside of Scope of IR35.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally have a specialism in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems. You will provide technical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week on the client site in Glasgow.

Key Objectives:

1. Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems and designs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.
3. Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
4. Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications & documentation.
5. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.
