Senior Electrical Engineer

Salary up to £62,000

Are you an experienced Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in Bristol? Does the idea of managing a technical maintenance team within a market leading company interest you?

The Company: With the company's success continuing to grow steadily, they are looking at expanding the work force on site in order to maintain production levels. They are a market leader within a highly profitable industry and are looking forward to another successful year within this marketplace.

The Role:

Within the remit of your role you will manage day to day electrical engineering operations on site, achieve maintenance and machinery uptime through the development of a robust maintenance plan. To ensure high standards of work, and identify training needs for the department, reduce machinery downtime and increase machinery efficiency, manage contractor control on site.

  • Budget control
  • Reliability and PPM's
  • Ownership of all electrical activity on site
  • Manage and develop skills of the engineers
  • Develop and embed a strong engaged team culture
  • Implement and manage a robust maintenance plan scheduling work to site engineers to achieve this.
  • Provide a safe working environment and ensure all work undertaken complies with the relevant procedures and legislation
  • Manage capital expenditure plan
  • Deliver department KPI's
Requirements:
  • Engineering Supervisory/aintenance background
  • Maintenance management background
  • Reliability experience
  • CMMS knowledge
  • Electrical Engineering background (HNC and above)
  • Manufacturing background, continuous process
  • Managed the Engineering Team/Budgets
  • Managed budgets and CAPEX projects, Operational knowledge
  • Understanding of CMMS systems
  • Knowledge of reliability
  • Engineering Degree ideal
