We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems, with a focus on Electrical Specification and Integration of Plant Instrumentation, Automation (EICA) designs. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in delivering successful projects, from detailed designs to construction and commissioning.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:
- Develop and deliver electrical designs, including HV Plant specifications, Primary Substation upgrades for both existing and greenfield sites, and all small power and auxiliary systems.
- Develop HV/EHV cabling systems specifications, concepts/detailed design, review, estimation, site supervision, and support as required.
- Ensure designs comply with industry and client standards and specifications.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Perform site visits to assess existing electrical systems and develop effective design solutions.
- Interface with other disciplines, e.g., Civil/Structural, Protection & Control, and OHL engineers.
- Develop and maintain external and internal client relationships.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare accurate project documentation, including bills of materials and cost estimates.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to improve design efficiency.

- Significant experience in electrical design of schemes up to 33kV, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, CYMCAP, or Revit.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- A proactive and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
