Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services
Location: Bristol

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a leading global consultancy We're working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in the heart of Bristol that is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic Building Services team.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. You'll lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with clients to ensure best-in-class solutions are delivered from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical design for projects across all RIBA stages

  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, both in-house and external

  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech

  • Conduct site inspections and attend client and design meetings

  • Contribute to business development and proposal writing when needed

  • Mentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services

  • Chartered or working towards CEng status (IET or CIBSE)

  • Proven experience in building services consultancy (minimum 5-7 years)

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK standards and regulations

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation software

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
