Job summary

ONE Creative environments in Worcester, Midlands, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. You will lead design delivery across sectors, with responsibility for project outputs from concept through to site installation and commissioning, liaising with clients and contractors.

As part of a respected international consultancy, you'll operate on diverse projects including leisure, healthcare, industrial, residential, education and commercial.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with 6+ years post qualification experience.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors with high quality design.
• Involvement through RIBA stages 5 and 6 including site installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients, contractors and fellow designers as part of a wider team.
• Deliver a range of duties with excellent verbal and written communication.

Skills/Experience:

You may already be an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer looking to progress your career to the next level. You will be degree qualified with more than 6 years post qualification experience including individual responsibility for project delivery. Your experience will include a portfolio of completed projects across a range of sectors where you have delivered high quality design solutions, and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver projects accurately and on time. Experience of being involved through RIBA stages 5 and 6, including site installation and commissioning processes. Flexibility, the ability to manage your own workload and being adaptable to differing tasks, are key to succeeding in this role.

The role:

The successful candidate will work as part of the wider team, interfacing with clients, contractors, and fellow designers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as being able to work collaboratively, are essential. As a business operating across all sectors of the built environment, you will be expected to undertake a range of duties. You will also need to be able to provide design leadership for ONE’s array of varied and interesting projects across a range of sectors including leisure, healthcare, industrial, residential, education and commercial.
