Job description

Overview

Senior Electrical Engineer required by a small independent M&E building services design consultancy in Birmingham, employing 20 staff. Working on RIBA stage 4-5. Projects typically include major retail, data centres, schools and general commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Senior design engineers manage their own projects
• Design electrical schemes and submit issued for construction drawings
• Direct liaison with clients
• Work closely with BIM team
• Typically office-based, with some WFH flexibility
• Hours: 40 per week; core hours 9:00–16:30 with flexible start/finish times

• Salary around £55K
• 25 days holiday, rising 1 day biannually to 32 days
