Key Responsibilities Of Electrical Engineer

• Leading a small engineering team of around 10-15 members
• People management, including motivating and mentoring your team to solve problems and develop their careers
• Implementing and managing HSEQ standards and policies
• Heavy industrial electrical engineering
• Supporting the move to a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment
• Identifying opportunities to automate manufacturing processes
• Monitoring and executing electrical tasks through spot checks and providing feedback

Essential Qualifications For Electrical Engineer

• Experience in a senior electrical role, such as EC&I Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Head of Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition regulations and BS7671 knowledge, PLCs and inverters experience
• Leadership and people management skills
• Knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 standards
• Complex EX14 or ATEX responsible person certification
• Experience with electrical maintenance in heavy industry
