Job description

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical, the internal MEP self-delivery business within Kier.

Location

Aldershot, Surrey

Hours

Full time, Permanent. Flexible working options available

Salary

£70,000 to £75,000. The package includes a Car Allowance, Healthcare, Pension, and other flexible benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely, in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law.
2. Review designs with teams and clients to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safe construction while implementing quality control procedures.
3. Manage project risks, opportunities, and changes effectively to maintain project integrity and efficiency.
4. Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring clear expectations, accurate reporting, and successful completion within timelines and budgets.
5. Work within Kier’s "one team" model, fostering collaboration, supporting team development, and driving performance to meet objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven technical expertise in Electrical Services and safety, with relevant industry qualifications.
• CSCS and SMSTS accreditation at minimum.
• A desire to learn and develop, with training and progression opportunities.
