Job summary
RSE is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Chemical & Wastewater Solutions team in a permanent role. You will lead in electrical, instrumentation, and control design across legacy and new build projects, liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting safety studies.
The position includes mentoring junior staff and working within our in-house SI capabilities. You will operate within the water sector, delivering high-quality MEICA solutions and supporting our clients across
Qualifications
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of British and European design standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence and a track record in design and construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical and instrumentation/control concept and detailed designs.
- Liaise across multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Participate in safety studies (Hazop) and related reviews.
- Lead EICA engineering input to MCC, PLC and instrumentation design solutions.
- Collaborate with in-house construction and commissioning teams to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of EICA engineers.
