Role Responsibilities

• Lead electrical development and documentation of design processes for company products.
• Ensure the accuracy and successful delivery of product design projects, including product definition, design phases, concessions, and production permits.
• Design, prototype, assess, and review electrical components and assemblies.
• Support product acceptance, testing, and validation activities.
• Participate in requirements and design review meetings.
• Analyze electrical components, assemblies, systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee and participate in prototyping activities.
• Support manufacturing and shop floor activities when required.
• Provide technical support across manufacturing, development, and procurement.
• Assist in component selection and develop tests to verify performance.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, including at customer sites.
• Support problem-solving and troubleshooting within cross-functional teams.
• Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 4+ years in heavy equipment industry.
• Experience in designing 12/24VDC control systems, including CAN bus, Modbus, etc.
• Experience in electrical control panel design (desired: Zuken E3 Series).
• Knowledge of standards like EN60204, ISO12100.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery malfunctions.
• Experience in developing PLC software (preferably IQAN & CoDeSys 3.5).
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Self-motivated and independent individual.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
