Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Leeds to own the electrical content of bespoke heavy engineered equipment from design through to installation and commissioning.

You will work closely with design, production, procurement, installation and commissioning teams, liaising with customers and suppliers to meet technical, cost, quality and schedule targets. Experience with industrial machinery and BS EN standards is valued.

Qualifications

• Electrical design engineering experience within a drawing office environment.
• Experience designing electrical control systems for heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of low-voltage motor speed control applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and specifications for control systems.
• Take responsibility for the electrical engineering content of projects.
• Coordinate site, application and design engineering resources.
• Manage technical requirements against cost, quality and programme targets.
• Support design and application of low-voltage motor speed control systems.
• Produce and review electrical design documentation.
