We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing MEP (Building Services) team based in our Cardiff office.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a highly motivated and collaborative team of engineers who are passionate about delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and who genuinely enjoy what they do.

You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services on multi-disciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules.

You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

About You

You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both electrical and M &E solutions across varied building sectors.
• Supported, developed or mentored junior colleagues.
• Experienced with BIM processes and tools including Revit, Dialux & Elec OM / Amtech.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical Engineering or building services.

Chartered status or working towards it.
