My client is a leading engineering consultancy renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the building services sector. With a dedicated team of 40 experienced engineers, we specialize in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, consistently pushing the boundaries of excellence and efficiency.

Role Overview:
They're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building services engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across various project types.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
2. Develop and review detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
3. Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and optimized design solutions.
4. Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
5. Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain and enhance the quality of our services.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the building services industry.
4. Proven track record in leading electrical design projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
5. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
7. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
