Overview

Do you currently hold active UK Security Clearance, or are you eligible to obtain it (British-born, UK Resident due to clearance required)?

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's London Building Services team and play a pivotal role in classified building projects within the Defence sector, as well as selected commercial and mission critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across Defence, Mission Critical, and commercial projects
• Collaborate with PMs, Architects, QSs, Structural Engineers, and specialists
• Deliver innovative, sustainable, technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services, ideally within consultancy or a design-focused contractor role
• Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion
• Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills
• Active Security Clearance or full eligibility to obtain it

Desirable

• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on secure or classified projects
• A consultancy background, or contractor experience in a design-oriented role
• A strong interest in sustainable, innovative design solutions
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in both office and site-based environments
