Job summary

ARCA is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (Senior level) for a 6-month+ contract to work on advanced motion simulation technology. The role focuses on creating and delivering high-quality electrical design documentation and data, including GA drawings, schematics, and BoMs, using EPLAN CAD.

You will contribute to design, build, and testing of sophisticated electrical control systems. The contractor will manage documentation, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with wider engineering

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
• Strong experience producing electrical engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience creating electrical schematics, control panel layouts and cable schedules.
• 3D digital representations of electrical control panels.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials management.

Responsibilities

• Create CDFs, GA drawings and sub-module schematics.
• Produce cable schedules and 3D digital twins using EPLAN.
• Create detailed electrical harness drawings and manage BoMs in Arena PLM.
• Prepare build and test instructions within Polarion.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and reviewed before release.
• Support cross-functional engineering activities and integration work.
