Overview

Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Type: Permanent Staff

Start Date: ASAP - Subject to clearance

Location: Leeds – Fully on site

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Salary Range: Up to 60,000 depending on experience

Benefits Package: 25 annual days plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme

Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop designs and specifications for control systems
  • Co-ordinate site, application and design engineering resources to meet project requirements
  • Optimise project cost and implementation
  • Develop a working understanding of crane industry standards
  • Manage the technical content of projects with regard to cost, quality, contract documentation and specifications
  • Liaise with customer engineering representatives
  • Attend client sites when required
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Degree in electrical engineering or relevant field
  • Design engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD Electrical 2020/2022
  • Knowledge of low voltage motor speed control applications
  • Knowledge of materials handling equipment
  • Knowledge of BS EN standards and BS EN 61508 safety principles
Security
