Job Description:

MCS Group is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Luton. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative R&D projects and contribute to the development of advanced electrical systems.

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Develop and design electrical schematics, drawings, and BOMs for components and systems.
3. Create technical documentation, including work instructions, parts lists, and maintenance components.
4. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the development team, and identify technical solutions.
5. Research and develop new electrical products, considering customer requirements, manufacturing methods, and materials.
6. Design and modify manufacturing and assembly processes for improved efficiency and quality.
7. Work on R&D projects to expand product range and introduce innovations.
8. Ensure product quality through electrical testing and validation.
9. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
10. Support cross-functional teams with engineering expertise and problem-solving.
11. Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• HND or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical design roles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or similar software.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with technical drafting and compliance.
