Senior Electrical Design Engineer London GBP45,000 – GBP60,000

If you're looking for a progressive building services engineering consultancy to work for then this position could be perfect for you!

ACR are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work within an award-winning MEP team who deliver on a variety of projects ranging in complexity, providing their clients with an outstanding design service from planning through to handover. As a senior member of the building services team, you will be client-facing, juggling design work whilst taking lead on project management throughout the business.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer's Key Responsibilities:

1. Work on custom electrical design work as a lead engineer on small to medium-sized projects
2. Develop project scopes, budgets and delivery regular client reporting
3. Conduct and lead design meetings to keep clients informed of all works being completed
4. Assist Directors on large-scale projects to include commercial, hotel, residential and healthcare sectors
5. Mentor junior staff, reviewing their design work and providing guidance where needed

Skills & Experience Required as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer:

1. Experience working within electrical design for a building services consultancy
2. Have a relevant building services engineering or electrical engineering degree
3. Must have strong leadership skills and have the willingness to mentor more junior staff
4. Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to present in client meetings
5. Have chartered engineer status (or ideally be working towards this)
