Job Profile for Senior Electrical Design Engineer - LF268655

Our client, a leading provider of building services engineering design, energy, and carbon reduction strategies, is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis from their East Croydon office. The role will involve overseeing junior staff, undertaking engineering designs, providing project management and administration duties, and monitoring design team costs in relation to the provided programme and budget for each project.

Responsibilities include undertaking fee assessments and providing fee bids for projects as directed.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Petrol and expenses paid
• 25 days holiday
• Working hours: 8:30 - 5:30 (37.5 hours)

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview

• Based from their East Croydon office with site visits as required
• Implement company procedures and policy
• Carry out Electrical design and project management of various types of projects in accordance with the company aims and policies
• Manage design team and provide Electrical engineering support to all Electrical engineers
• Liaise with clients and attend meetings on all aspects of the projects
• Maintain and expand current client base
• Carry out surveys and produce reports
• Conduct quality inspections of projects
• Use CAD systems in line with Pinnacle company procedures
• Monitor financial aspects of projects
• Formulate Electrical standards within the organisation
• Produce drawings manually; CAD experience is essential
• Project management of multi-disciplinary projects

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level
• Full UK Driving license
• Experience using Windows, Excel/Word, Autocad, and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, British Standards, and Revit / BIM
• Project experience in the Residential, Education, Commercial, and Leisure sectors
