Salary: starting from £50,827 depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the Global Solutions Engineering Group at Caterpillar (N.I.) Ltd in Larne. As part of the Caterpillar Electric Power engineering team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering customer-specific power solutions for a global market.
Working within a highly skilled and collaborative environment, you will lead electrical design activities across new product development, engineering change implementation, manufacturing support, and product improvement initiatives. You'll be responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements for performance, cost, durability, quality, and serviceability.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence the ongoing success of Caterpillar's Electric Power business. As part of an experienced team delivering projects for global export markets, you'll also have opportunities to further develop your expertise, with occasional international travel to support commissioning and customer projects.
