About the job

Venn Group are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver high–quality designs for projects in the Building Service sector.

This role requires professionals with experience in Electrical Design who can go on–site near their office in Bristol 3, 4 days per week.

Unfortunately Sponsorship isn't available. The salary& Job title's are dependent on experience.

Salary range: GBP47,000 – GBP71,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Your Role:

• Be responsible for the day–to–day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi–disciplinary projects across various building sectors
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards
• Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a communicative, collaborative, and timely approach to delivery. This is a client–facing role, so you will attend project meetings and disseminate/translate the brief within the project team
• Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered
• Mentor and support the next generation of professionals, including apprentices and graduates

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record of delivering on a variety of complex projects
• Excellent communication and business development skills
• Experience with modern technical delivery processes and relevant software/tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Dialux
• Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design–oriented/consultant role
• Self–awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity
• An interest in area's including Sustainable development & Green technologies
• Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence
