About the Company - A well established independent engineering consultancy seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver projects in various specialist areas including healthcare sectors, large defence projects, education, retail and mixed use. The company culture is excellent with regular charity events including sailing and cycling for various charities and foundations, plus social events including office lunches and trips to iconic London landmarks.

About the Role - Collaborate with design team through RIBA stages. Ensure designs are delivered in accordance with current regulations. Project management – lead medium/large size projects. Carry out site surveys and reports. Represent the client in technical meetings with clients, architects and contractors. Coordinate with team to ensure continuous development of junior staff.

Qualifications - HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or industry equivalent. Chartered status is preferred but not essential. Building Services Consultancy experience is required, along with recent UK experience. Ideally, but not essential, experience working in healthcare, retail, mixed use and education sectors. Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD, MEP REVIT and relevant Electrical Design Software is necessary. Must have a driving license and use of own car for travel to various projects.
