Job Description:

MCS Group is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Dartford. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative R&D projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical systems.

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Develop and design accurate electrical schematics, drawings, and BOMs for components and systems.
3. Create technical documentation, including work instructions, parts lists, and critical maintenance components.
4. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the development team, identifying and implementing technical solutions.
5. Research and develop new electrical products, considering customer requirements, manufacturing methods, and materials.
6. Design and modify manufacturing and assembly processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
7. Work on R&D projects to expand the product range and bring new innovations to market.
8. Ensure product quality through rigorous electrical testing and validation methods.
9. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
10. Support cross-functional teams by providing engineering expertise and problem-solving solutions.
11. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, following company health and safety policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• HND or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant experience.
• Experience in a similar electrical design role.
• Proficiency in schematic and software programming design using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or similar tools.
• Strong ability to read, create, and interpret complex electrical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical regulations and design standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in technical drafting and electrical standard compliance.
