We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a fast-paced, exciting design and build contractor focused on sustainable design solutions.

Join one of the biggest building services design departments in the region, boasting over 15 chartered engineers and a strong training program.

Our client employs over 60 engineers who deliver detailed mechanical and electrical designs on challenging projects, often directly for end users like Universities and Hospitals, involving state-of-the-art energy centres, plant rooms, and building services.

Projects typically involve complex electrical designs, BMS control systems, and HV systems.

The role includes electrical detailed design, site surveys, report writing, technical analysis, calculations, feasibility studies, and conceptual reviews.

* Site (hands-on) experience is beneficial but not essential.

* Ideally, candidates will have experience with:

• Building services
• HV knowledge
• Power systems
• CHP / Generators

* Industry background in:

• District Network Operators (Electricity Northwest, SSE, or Northern Power Grid in the North West)
