Senior Electrical Design Engineer, Birmingham

• Electrical design of bespoke electrical equipment supplied to the Marine and Defence industry sectors.
• Long-term secure contracts providing job security and growth opportunities.
• Salary commensurate with experience + pension + life assurance + 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + early finish on Fridays.

Ideal candidate:

• An Electrical Design Engineer with experience in delivering electrical design and development projects into manufacturing.
• Experience in designing power distribution, control, and instrumentation panels or bespoke electrical equipment is advantageous.
• Enjoys taking responsibility for full project delivery and supporting team members.
• Holds a recognized qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or similar.
• Must be a sole British Citizen to obtain security clearance for UK Defence projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver electrical design on engineering projects, including proposals, detailed design, calculations, validation, and technical specifications.
• Assess customer requirements, consult with clients, and drive projects forward.
• Conduct technical reviews, resource planning, and support team development.
