Overview

Are you a Senior Electrical Design Engineer looking for a new role? A leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its Wireline Systems and Wellhead Pressure Control Equipment team at its engineering headquarters in Kintore. This facility serves as the central hub for the design, manufacture, and after-sales support of intervention equipment across Europe, Africa, and the CIS region.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customised electrical systems using advanced CAE tools, with consideration for customer requirements and system integration.
• Lead design projects including cost estimation, validation, compliance documentation, and final delivery, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
• Provide technical support across regional and global teams, including site visits for installation, commissioning, and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in electrical design within the oil and gas or a closely related engineering sector.
• Proficiency with CAE tools and established engineering documentation standards.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant industry regulations, compliance requirements, and engineering best practices.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems.
