Position: Senior Electrical Engineer / EC&I

Location: East Kilbride, Scotland

What You'll Do

  1. Design with Impact: Lead the design of electrical control systems with PLCs (Schneider or Siemens), inverters, pumps, sensors, etc.
  2. Build from the Ground Up: Create wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and BoMs from concept to completion.
  3. Ensure Excellence: Ensure compliance with global standards (CE, UKCA, UL, C-UL) for safety, EMC, and environmental protection.
  4. Bring It Together: Integrate systems using protocols like Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP.
  5. Support What Matters: Oversee testing, documentation, and product upgrades with a long-term perspective.
  6. Collaborate Across Borders: Work with cross-functional teams and report to the Operations Director.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Design Systems, or Control Engineering
  • Experience designing and programming PLC-based systems (Siemens or Schneider)
  • Understanding of compliance and electrical standards
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and system integration
