The opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Control, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) Engineer to join our Front-End Definition (FED) team in Warrington. Working under the guidance of the FED Team Engineering Leads, you will play a key role in delivering CE&I work scopes within the SFM and Remediation Enabling Projects Portfolio, including the HALES and FED workstreams.
The role
You will take technical ownership of detailed design and execution support, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the timely delivery of CE&I outputs in line with project cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
Security Clearance: Current security clearance required (must be eligible to gain security clearance).
This role is Inside IR35, 12 months+.

The setting for the role
Risks and hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licensed site, including nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high-pressure circuits, steam, high noise, and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided, and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
