Job summary

Allen & York are partnering with a leading environmental and planning consultancy to hire a Senior EIA Consultant for major urban regeneration schemes across the UK. You will lead Environmental Impact Assessments, steer multidisciplinary teams, and act as a primary client contact to deliver sustainable development outcomes.

You should have significant consultancy EIAs experience, a strong grasp of UK EIA regulations, and a track record in urban regeneration, brownfield redevelopment, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Environmental Management, Planning, or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering EIAs in consultancy.
• Experience on urban regeneration, brownfield and mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK EIA regulations and planning processes.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Membership of IEMA, CIWEM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate EIAs for urban regeneration projects.
• Manage projects from screening to Environmental Statement.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as key client contact and maintain relationships.
• Support planning applications and consenting strategies.
• Provide mentoring to junior consultants.
• Engage with authorities, stakeholders and regulators.
• Contribute to bids and framework opportunities.
