Qualifications

• A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar.
• Chartered Environmental Status and Full membership of IEMA, or similar with a relevant professional body.
• Experience of EIA and EIA processes in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of environmental and planning legislation.
• Post‑qualified experience coordinating environmental assessments on various projects.
• Appreciation of project management including commercial and risk aspects.
• Experience in work winning and bid preparation activities.
• Experience liaising with cross‑discipline teams, clients and external bodies.
• Strong report writing and attention to detail.
• Promoting a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues.
• Promote sustainable design and environmental enhancement.
• Manage delivery of environmental inputs into projects including EIA screening, scoping, constraints studies and Environmental Statements.
• Oversee performance on technical, quality, commercial and health and safety.
• Build relationships with clients and identify opportunities for new work and bid preparation.
• Prepare proposals and participate in strategic bid activities; contribute to business development.
• Support development of innovative techniques (Digital EIA, Technical Excellence).
• Inspire and mentor junior colleagues in their career development.
• Advocate health, safety and wellbeing within the team and culture.
