EHS Advisor - Key Responsibilities
Promote and embed health and safety best practices across teams and contractors.
Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with contractor management processes.
Deliver and evaluate training, including toolbox talks, to maintain staff competence.
Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations with follow-up actions.
Maintain and manage registers (e.g., COSHH, noise, vibration, ladders).
Monitor contractor safety systems and permit-to-work compliance.
Ensure site documentation and assessments are up to date (e.g., risk, DSE, COSHH).
Engage regularly with teams through site walkarounds and safety meetings.
Requirements
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Level 3).
Experience in health and safety within manufacturing or technical environments.
Strong knowledge of risk assessments and incident investigation.
Experience delivering health and safety training and audits.
Familiarity with facilities management or service operations is an advantage.
