Job summary

The Herts Legal Service, part of Hertfordshire County Council, is looking for a Senior Educational Psychologist. This role, based in Hemel Hempstead or Stevenage, offers a hybrid working model and aims to make a difference in the lives of children and young people across Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will hold a Professional Doctorate in Educational Psychology and have considerable local authority experience, contributing to service delivery while leading a team of psychologists.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as an Educational Psychologist within a local authority.
• Strong understanding of current developments in psychology and SEND.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
