Salary: Soulbury Scale B 2–5 plus up to 3 SPA points
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Worcestershire
Team: Educational Psychology Team

About the Service

WCC Educational Psychology Service are recruiting a Senior Educational Psychologist to expand their growing team. Are you a qualified HCPC registered EP looking to expand your leadership experiences? Do you want to provide leadership to a Service that provides a range of opportunities to apply psychology across contexts and systems? Would you like to work for a Service that actively promotes a good work-life balance, with wellbeing as a priority? Do you like the idea of working across disciplines and with a range of professional colleagues? Then WCC EPS is the service for you.

WCC EPS is part of Inclusion Support Services, within the All-Age Disability Directorate; this enables the EP service to have close working relationships with specialist teaching services, social care, SEND services and a range of other education services such as the school engagement and school improvement teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and professional supervision to a team of Educational Psychologists, Trainees, and Assistants.
  • Lead on complex casework and ensure high quality evidence-based practice.
  • Drive Service development, including traded work with schools and commissioners.
  • Lead Inclusion Support Service development areas, such as Early Years, Co-production and Social, Emotional and Mental Health.
