Placements24 is seeking a Senior Educational Content Writer to develop engaging learning materials for online courses. The role requires strong pedagogy, extensive research, and collaboration with SMEs to ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.

You will craft lesson text, exercises, quizzes, case studies, and interactive elements across multiple subjects, adapting content for diverse learners while maintaining brand voice and quality. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, education, journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in educational content writing or curriculum development.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging educational materials.
• Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
• Experience working with subject matter experts and instructional designers.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning principles.
• Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing remote and office-based tasks in Randburg, Gauteng.
• Portfolio of writing samples showcasing educational content is required.

Responsibilities
