Full time starting salary is normally in the range £36,130 to £45,413 with potential progression once in post to £48,149
Grade: 7
Full Time, Fixed Term contract up to July 2026

Role Summary
This role is based within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences and plays a vital role in supporting the management and development of educational provision working closely with senior academics and Professional Services colleagues to enable the College to deliver excellence in teaching.
The post holder will possess a broad understanding of how academia operates as a business and will be responsible for the management and optimisation of administration for all learning, teaching, compliance and quality administrative processes. They will work with all members of the LES Education Services team, lead on defined Education projects and make a major contribution to strategic discussions, developing policy and procedure to ensure consistency of practice and delivery of the College strategy.
The post holder will work on their own initiative and exercise a high level of judgement, skill and understanding to conceive, develop and implement long term improvements to service delivery and effective ways of working within their areas of responsibility.

You will directly manage others in this role and be expected to act as a role model and coach members of the team. You may manage a budget in this role.
Planning and Organising
You will be required to manage and prioritise a varied and complex workload to deliver within required time frames, and make a substantial contribution to the management, development and implementation of strategic and operational processes.
Problem Solving and decision making
You will be working under the direction of a senior manager, but with considerable autonomy to deliver the outputs required. You will be working within the framework of existing policies, processes and procedures for the University and the College, but there will be plenty of scope to review and shape processes. You will take day to day decisions on complex tasks in the team's remit including identifying next steps as appropriate. You will manage complex projects and be responsible for delivering outcomes within a set timeframe.
Internal and External relationships
This role will be liaising with internal colleagues and stakeholders, external stakeholders as well, sometimes with customers who have issues with the service, with an expectation on maintaining good working relationships with all.
