Job description

This is a chance to take on a Senior Editor role at Gardening Know How, one of the world's biggest gardening websites.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, you'll deliver traffic and ecommerce growth, and support commercial performance across all platforms. You'll lead the team to create industry-leading content across all aspects of gardening, with a focus on gaining Discover traffic.

You'll run the forward planner, content calendar and output planner, work with the video and social media editor to originate ideas for different channels, commission content and ensure the team operates to deadline and in budget.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Understanding of building audiences for websites and knowledge of different acquisition channels
  • A passion and keen interest in homes and gardens, and an ability to write for US audiences
  • Excellent industry contacts
  • Experience managing freelance budgets
  • Experience as a people manager
