Job summary

Kandou AI is seeking an experienced EDA/CAD Engineer in the UK, with the role based in Cambridge or Reading, or other listed locations. You will manage an integrated analog/digital EDA environment, enable robust CAD flows, and collaborate with vendors to optimize toolchains for advanced technology nodes.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in EDA/CAD, hands-on with Cadence, Synopsys, and Calibre, and a strong track record in design enablement, PDKs, and multi-project flow management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• Hands-on experience with EDA/CAD tools across analog and digital IC design.
• Experience at advanced technology nodes and PDKs; strong tool licensing & release management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrated analog/digital EDA environment (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens Calibre).
• Develop and validate robust CAD flows for simulation, verification, parasitics, reliability.
• Provide guidance to design engineers; troubleshoot tools; optimize methodologies.
