Job summary

Queens Hospital, Romford, part of BHRUT, is seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse (Band 5–6 level) to join a busy ED. You will lead by example, oversee patient flow, and support the team in delivering safe, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• TILS course and triage competence are essential.
• Completed Capital Nurse Course or equivalent Emergency Nursing Care Course.
• Ability to supervise and educate others in a fast‑paced ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, high‑quality care in the Emergency Department across Majors, Resus, RAFT, Triage and SDEC.
• Lead and supervise both registered and unregistered staff, supporting education and development.
• Ensure care is inclusive and aligns with Trust policies and local unit guidelines.
