Job summary

Mouser Electronics, a global distributor of semiconductors, is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to craft goal-directed design solutions for our ecommerce platforms. The role collaborates with UX and UI designers, business analysts, project managers and developers to deliver compelling, usable interfaces across web and mobile channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six+ years designing user interfaces for ecommerce.
• Proven experience with user research and usability testing.
• Strong portfolio of UX samples (print or electronic).
• Experience with Axure, Sketch; practical HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong organising skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create goal-directed design solutions for Mouser's website and apps.
• Design responsive web and mobile interfaces and HTML content pages.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Balance user goals with business requirements and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with UX Designers, UI Designers, BAs, PMs, and developers.
• Leverage user research and site metrics to tailor interfaces.
• Manage time and schedule to meet project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with usability principles.
