Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity to join the eCommerce team at Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery as a Senior Ecommerce Development Manager. This key role combines technical expertise with creativity and collaboration. You will own all website operations and development, ensuring our Magento 2 platforms are functional and evolving. Your responsibilities include managing data integrity, integrations, and leading complex development projects to create a seamless customer experience.

You will collaborate with WebOps, UX/UI, and wider Ecommerce teams, bringing ideas to life, solving problems, and delivering projects accurately. Being calm under pressure, meticulous, and customer-focused are essential qualities.

The role is Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. You will work three days a week at our friendly office in Banbury, Oxfordshire, with the flexibility to work from home two days.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Oversee website operations and development, including the B2B sales app
  • Manage website upgrades, maintenance, and QA testing
  • Ensure data integrity, product information, and metadata accuracy
  • Manage payment provider relationships and PCI compliance
  • Configure shipping processes and partnerships
  • Manage middleware solutions and data flow from order to ERP
  • Assess server suitability and manage costs
  • Develop a three-year plan for digital infrastructure growth
  • Manage web development agencies and internal teams, mainly within Magento 2
  • Handle daily website updates and stakeholder communication
  • Create project scope documentation and manage project delivery
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and manage Magento upgrades
  • Handle website data management through CSV uploads
  • Lead WebOps, Development, and UI teams for effective collaboration
  • Focus on delivering top-tier website experiences
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING

  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience with Magento 2 development
  • Excellent ecommerce and development management skills
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Experience managing third-party agencies or developers
  • Knowledge of development methodologies and CSV catalogue management
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills
  • Self-motivated and autonomous, yet a team player
  • Ownership-driven with enthusiasm and confidence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Advanced Magento knowledge; familiarity with GTM, Analytics, DataStudio, Netsuite, AWS, JavaScript, HTML, and PHP is desirable
