With a new head of Ecology in place have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced EIA practitioner to join their happy team!

On behalf of my client, we are on the lookout for an ambitious consultant with a minimum of 2 years solid industry experience and a passion for Ecology to join their recently formed team. With a portfolio of prestigious projects and a dynamic environment, you'll be working alongside many of the industry's best EIA practitioners and within a growing team of ecologists

Responsibilities & Tasks

· Lead and coordinate technical aspects of various ecology projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

· Drive the technical quality of surveys, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with ecological legislation.

· Collaborate with project stakeholders to achieve environmental protection goals and deliver exemplary outcomes for our clients.

· Support the mentoring of junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.

· Support on client relationships and contribute to bid preparation.

· Champion the teams' capabilities internally and externally, promoting services to clients and stakeholders.



Ideal Candidate Profile

· Hold a degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related field, with membership or eligibility to join the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

· Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in UK consultancy

· Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

· Show proficiency in data management, wildlife legislation, ecological survey methods, and mitigation measures.

· Hold a full UK driver's license and have expertise in bat sound analysis and GIS skills.
