Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking an experienced ecologist to help grow our East Anglia Ecology Team. You will lead complex projects from tender through to report delivery and combine technical expertise with business development.

You will work with clients to provide best-practice ecology advice, ensure compliance with legislation, and support high-quality environmental outcomes, including EPSL, EcIA, and HRA work, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental consultancy.
• Strong background in ecology, with an ecological degree or similar
• Track record of winning work and building client relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex ecological projects.
• Provide expert guidance on legislation, policy and best practice.
• Review and approve technical reports and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Win new work through bids, tenders and client engagement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
