Job summary

Keystone Environmental Ltd. is seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead ecological surveys, manage projects and mentor junior ecologists. You will contribute to client relations, deliver high-quality reports and support business development while working within our integrated environmental team.

The role emphasises professional practice, ethics, and delivering Biodiversity Net Gain at scale across UK projects. A CIEEM qualification or equivalent, and experience in consultancy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ecological surveys across multiple sectors.
• Ability to design environmental management plans and mitigation measures.
• Strong report writing and QA across ecological projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver small to medium ecological projects from inception to completion.
• Produce technical reports with QA across ecological projects.
• Manage project budgets and resources for successful delivery.
• Maintain client relations and support business development through tender input.
