Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Guildford is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join a respected ecological consultancy delivering surveys, reports and biodiversity support across the UK.

You will conduct surveys, coordinate fieldwork, mentor junior ecologists and prepare high quality PEAs/ECIAs. A full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are essential for this permanent role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an ecologist with strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• You must live in or near Guildford and have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and deliver ecological surveys.
• Mentor junior ecologists, contributing to team development.
• Generate high quality technical reports such as PEAs and ECiAs.
