Job summary

A respected environmental consultancy in Exeter is seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead exciting projects and conduct diverse ecological surveys. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ecology, strong report-writing skills, and a passion for sustainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in ecological consultancy or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policies.
• Membership of CIEEM or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ecological surveys, including protected species.
• Prepare comprehensive ecological reports like EcIA and BNG assessments.
• Advise clients on ecological constraints and opportunities.
