Senior Ecologist (Hemel) [964960], London

We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to work with clients in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas. As a Senior Ecologist at RSK Biocensus, you will be involved in field surveys, assessments, tender and report writing, and project management across various nationwide and local projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee medium/large projects and tenders from start to finish.
• Promote RSK positively to clients and competitors through quality work.
• Handle project finances, resources, subcontractors, risks, and quality assurance to ensure timely delivery and effective communication. Respond to client feedback.
• Conduct fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys and travel as needed.
• Supervise site work and participate in habitat management or creation under supervision.
• Assist in delivering survey and research reports, including document reviews, statistical analyses, license applications, and reporting.

Person Specification

• First degree in a relevant discipline or vocational qualification.
• Full UK driving license.
• Species-specific personal licenses are desirable.
• Associate membership with CIEEM.
• Adherence to CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
