Job summary
CleanTech Talent is seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead exciting projects across environmental sectors. You will conduct ecological surveys, prepare reports, and advise on mitigation strategies, bringing strong field and regulatory knowledge.
The role offers flexible remote work with two days in the office, a supportive team, and opportunities to progress towards CIEEM chartership. You will collaborate with planners, GIS specialists, and clients to deliver high-quality outputs.
Qualifications
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in ecological surveys and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead ecological surveys including protected species considerations.
- Prepare EcIA and Biodiversity Net Gain reports.
- Advise clients on ecological constraints and mitigation options.
- Collaborate with landscape planning and arboriculture teams.
- Support Environmental Impact Assessments and planning applications.
- Liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders for project delivery.
- Contribute to fee proposals and tender documents.
