Job Description:

We are looking for someone to work with clients in Bristol, and the surrounding areas. As a Senior Ecologist at RSK Biocensus, you can expect to be involved in the delivery of field surveys, assessments, tender and report writing, and project management on various nationwide and local projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee medium/large projects and tenders from start to finish.
  • Promote high-quality work, and represent RSK positively to clients and competitors.
  • Manage project aspects including finance, resources, subcontractors, risk, quality assurance, timely delivery, and client communication.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys and travel as needed.
  • Oversee site work and habitat management or creation under supervision.
  • Assist in delivering survey and research reports, including reviews, analyses, licensing, and reporting.

Person Specification

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or vocational qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Species-specific personal licences are desirable.
  • Membership with CIEEM or equivalent.
  • Adherence to CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
