We're on the lookout for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established consultancy based in York. You'll have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects - from local conservation initiatives to major infrastructure developments.

What We're Looking For;

Previous experience working in ecological consultancy or a related field.

A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline - a Master's or PhD would be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities;

Prepare high-quality ecological reports, impact assessments, and tailored mitigation strategies.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and building strong, professional relationships.

Support and guide junior ecologists, with opportunities to take on mentoring responsibilities.
*

Ensure all project work complies with relevant environmental legislation, planning policies, and best practice standards.
