Job description

Consultant Ecologist

Location: REMOTE

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy, who are actively seeking an ambitious Consultant Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their ever-growing team in a REMOTE role!

Their ethos revolves around the sustainability of a project, putting this at the forefront of every project. The successful Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team assisting with protected species surveys.

Ecologist Position Overview

1. Undertaking protected species surveys
2. Helping to build tenders and creating fee quotations
3. Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc)
4. Managing small-medium-sized projects and some large-sized projects with assistance if needed

Ecologist Position Requirements

1. 5-8+ years of industry experience
2. Ability to write a range of reports
3. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
4. 1 protected species license (preferred)
5. Hold a full UK driving license
6. Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and an understanding of how to apply it correctly
7. Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred

Ecologist Position Remuneration

1. Competitive salary, ranging between £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
